Catering Assistant - Freeling Holt House Kitchen, Auckland

We are looking for a reliable catering assistant to join our team at Freeling Holt House kitchen, located in Torbay on Auckland’s North Shore. This private hospital and resthome has 33 beds and provide continuing care at hospital level for younger adults with disabilities and chronic health conditions, as well as the elderly. The position is part time, working Sundays (7:00am – 1:30pm) and have availability to work Friday and/or Saturday shifts when required.

With a set menu, you will be assisting with the preparation of breakfast for residents, serving morning tea whilst keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. A successful candidate will need to be resilient, stay cool under pressure and enjoy working with the elderly. Our kitchen team work hard but have fun along the way.

We are looking for a passionate and responsible person who can: -
- be friendly and engaging and enjoy making the day of residents by serving amazing meals,
- be able to work safely in a commercial kitchen with large hot pots and trays,
- be exceptional team players with a flexible and committed attitude,
