Barista – Gallagher, Hamilton

Monday – Friday, 7.30am to 3.00pm (35 hours)

Cater Plus is the proud catering service provider at Joe’s Café at the Gallagher Group site, Hamilton.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Barista/Café All-rounder to join our team at this busy café. In this role you will support the team in the kitchen and front of house customer service, serving great coffee and café food.

We are looking for a passionate and responsible person who can:
-produce great barista coffees,
-serve customers with a smile on their face,
-handle cash and EFTPOS,
-help the chef with food preparation on site,
-assist with keeping the café a clean, tidy and inviting environment.

What you’ll do:
- have previous experience in a similar role,
- be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays,
- be a reliable team player with a positive attitude, and ability to multi-task,
- possess an exceptional customer service understanding,
- serve food and coffee to the highest standard at all times,
- have great communication skills and ability to build rapport with returning clientele,
