Café Allrounder – Inghams Waitoa

40 hours per week as rostered Monday to Friday


Do you have experience working in an open kitchen cafeteria? Looking for a local role in the Matamata-Piako District? Yes – then read on! We have an opportunity for a catering assistant superstar to join our team based at Ingham’s, Waitoa.

In this position you will be actively involved in all aspects of the café including front of house customer service, and assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, as well as keeping the cafe and kitchen clean and hazard free.

What you’ll do:
- serve hearty hot creation food to customers,
- produce great barista coffees,
- operate Eftpos and POS machine with confidence,
- assist with food preparation and cleaning,
- provide support for functions.

Who you are:
- resilient and comfortable working within the unique environment of a chicken processing plant,
- a people person, who enjoys working in hospitality, providing a top notch customer service
- great at multi-tasking and can keep calm under pressure,
- have experience in a café environment and or kitchen,
- willing to learn and be a part of a great team.

This position is full time working Monday to Friday as rostered with varying shifts between 3.30am and 9pm. Flexibility to work across the various shift start and finish times is required.
