Catering Assistant - Aged Care , Matamata

12 hours per week flexible across a 7 day roster

We are on the lookout for a passionate kitchen staff member who is eager to showcase their culinary skills and provide exceptional customer service to the 25 residents plus meals on wheels recipients at our facility in Matamata.

We have an opportunity available for a part-time Catering Assistant to support our team, so we are looking for motivated individuals who are flexible to work across the various shifts of a 7-day roster. This role has minimum 12 hours per week.

To be successful you will need to:

- Be friendly and engaging and enjoy making the day of residents by serving amazing meals.
- Have an understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and food control regulations.
- Be an exceptional team player with a flexible and committed attitude.
- Have good time management skills.
- Be able to work safely in a commercial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.

Kitchen experience is preferred, however not essential as training will be provided to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
