Catering Assistant – Birthcare Auckland (Parnell)

Fixed shifts: Friday & Saturday, 5pm–8pm (6 hours per week)

Birthcare Auckland, part of the Evolution Health Group, is a primary maternity hospital in Parnell offering birthing and postnatal care in a calm, modern environment.

What You’ll Do
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Prepare and deliver meal trays to patient rooms, then clear them at the end of service.
• Keep the kitchen running safely and smoothly by washing dishes, removing rubbish, and maintaining a clean, hazard free workspace.
• Refill supplies and support overall kitchen flow.

Who You Are
• Have great attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Are confident working safely with industrial kitchen equipment.
• Keep your workspace tidy, clean, and hazard free.
• Bring a flexible, can do attitude and are a reliable team player.
• Communicate well and enjoy friendly, positive interactions with patients.
• Can work independently, as your shift begins after the chef has finished for the day.
