Catering Assistant - Cafe Marc, Auckland

We are looking for a Superstar who can support the Chef manager in the kitchen to make sandwiches for the cold cabinet, plating our daily lunch meals and assisting with baking and regular function food. Treat our customers to amazing service and prepare barista style coffees with the wow factor. This role needs someone who can multitask with the added duty of keeping the kitchen/café clean and hazard free including dish duties.

Located in the Plant and Food building you will be working Monday – Friday (6:30am – 3:00pm). This site comes with the bonus of your own car park if you drive on a daily basis.

To be successful we are looking for an honest and responsible person who can:
- serve beautifully crafted café style food to customers,
- make stunning coffees,
- operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile,
- assist with food preparation and cleaning,
- understand a basic level of computer literacy
- work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,
- utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,
- enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more.
