Catering Assistant (Fixed term) – Hillview Home and Hospital, Te Kuiti

6-Week Fixed Term Position
32.5 hours per week | 5 days | 6:30am – 1:30pm

Are you looking for a role over the Christmas period?

We’re seeking a reliable, energetic Catering Assistant with a friendly, can-do attitude to join our kitchen team at Hillview Home and Hospital. We cater for 52 residents daily, as well as providing meals on wheels, and we’d love your help delivering a high-quality food service.

In this role, you will:

• Support our chefs by keeping the kitchen clean and managing dishes
• Assist with food preparation, baking, and meal service
• Work safely in an industrial kitchen environment
• Bring a flexible, committed, and positive attitude
• Be resilient and comfortable working under pressure in a busy kitchen

Previous kitchen experience is preferred to help you hit the ground running, but we are happy to train someone with the right attitude and motivation.
