Catering Assistant – Fonterra Lichfield

Fixed term, 2nd June and estimated finish 28th August.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support our onsite café team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, from preparing fresh, wholesome food to serving smiling customers heading off to their next shift. If you enjoy keeping busy, working as part of a great team, and being proud of what you serve, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting the chef with food preparation and baking
• Serving tasty café-style meals with friendly, efficient service
• Operating POS and EFTPOS systems confidently (training provided)
• Receiving, moving, and managing stock
• Keeping the café sparkling clean, including dishes and general cleaning

About you:
• Positive, self-motivated, and customer-focused
• A genuine interest in food, with baking experience or confidence following recipes
• Friendly, reliable, and a real team player
• Previous experience in café, cafeteria, or food service environments
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible and willing to pick up extra hours when needed
