Catering Assistant – Joe’s Café, Hamilton

Full time, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4:30pm | 40 hours per week.

Are you an energetic team player who knows what it means to provide outstanding customer service? Cater Plus is on the hunt for a passionate café assistant to join our close-knit team serving the staff on site at the Gallagher Group’s International Headquarters in Hamilton.

To be successful in this role you will be warm and engaging with a can-do attitude and friendly nature. You will join a team dedicated to preparing and serving outstanding café style food and coffee for our customers and keep them coming back for more.

We require someone who can:
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with all FOH duties including POS and cash handling
• Must have Barista skills to assist when Barista is on breaks
• Help with dishes and cleaning and assist with food preparation if needed
• Provide support for functions,
• Assist with packing away deliveries and restocking fridges and cabinets
• Work as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,
• Utilise great communication skills,
• Demonstrate attention to detail, to keep the kitchen and café clean, tidy, hazard free, and an inviting environment for our customers.
