Catering Assistant - Mt Wellington Site, Auckland

We have an opening for a hospitality superstar for a special food service contract in Mount Wellington. With 300 employees on site, our client provides lunch meals and at times packaged dinner meals for their people!

Think a meal service that is on trend, full of flavour with a healthy twist and you get to be apart of it. You will actively support our Head Chef to prepare and plate meals in a high energy atmosphere complete with a newly designed kitchen and serving area. During service times you will need to be fast, efficient and show a high level of communication with both the customers and your team. This role needs someone who can multitask with the added duty of keeping the kitchen/café clean and hazard free including dish duties.

To be successful we are looking for an honest and responsible person who can:

- serve beautifully crafted café style food to customers,

- assist with food preparation and cleaning,

- understand a basic level of computer literacy

- work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,

- utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,

- enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more.

This is a part-time position working Monday – Friday (10:00am – 3:00pm) allowing for weekends to be spent with family and friends. Added bonus – only a 5 minute walk to public transport and a car park if you drive to work.
