Catering Assistant – New Plymouth

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Cater Plus is the proud new catering service provider at Tegel New Plymouth and we are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team this busy onsite café. In this position you will be actively involved in all aspects of the café including customer service, serving dinner and cabinet food, as well as, supporting the established kitchen team with food preparation.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• A friendly disposition and flexible attitude.
• Resilience and be comfortable working within the unique environment of a chicken processing plant.
• Be a ‘people person’ who enjoys working in hospitality and providing a top-notch service.
• Be great at multi-tasking and can keep calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and be a part of a great team.
• Prior experience in a café environment and/or kitchen is preferred but is not essential.
