Catering Assistant - Sacred Heart College, Glendowie, Auckland

Hours: Tuesday & Wednesday, 4:00pm – 7:00pm (6 hours per week)

Cater Plus is proud to be the service provider at Sacred Heart College, and we are currently looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to join our team.

This is a permanent position on an educational school contract, meaning your hours of work will align with the school term. During school holidays and summer break, hours may reduce, offering you valuable flexibility and time to focus on other commitments. Additional hours may also be available by agreement to support functions or cover roster gaps.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive kitchen environment, preparing and serving wholesome food within a school community.

To be successful you will need to:
• Ideally have experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment (but training can be provided).
• Be friendly, approachable, and enjoy interacting with residents.
• Have a positive attitude and be a strong team player.
• Have good time management skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Be reliable, flexible, and willing to help where needed.
• Have an understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Be able to work safely in a kitchen environment.
