Catering Assistant – Timaru

• 20 hours per week. Monday to Thursday (3pm to 8:30pm)
• 40-week educational term contract
• Start date: Monday 20th July 2026 (After school holidays)

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in delivering great service.

What you’ll do
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Serve meals and provide friendly customer service
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen and service areas clean and tidy
• Assist with stock handling and deliveries
• Support catering for school events and functions

About you
• Some hands on kitchen or food service experience preferred
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Confident communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Flexible and reliable, with availability across varying shifts
• A positive, team focused attitude
