Catering Assistant-Wakefield Hospital, Wellington
32.5 hours per week 
Monday 6.30 to 3pm
Wed to Friday 2pm to 8pm
Sat 6.30 to 3pm

To make this happen, we need a Catering Assistant who is passionate about excellent service to support our chefs in the kitchen.
What you’ll do:
•	ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.  
•	compile meal trays, deliver to patient rooms, and clear at end of service.
•	ensure meals delivered comply with dietary requirements 
•	top up supplies and generally help to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Who You Are:
•	show attention to detail.
•	have good time management skills and the ability to take instruction and initiative.
•	be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
•	maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
•	be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.
•	excellent communications skills as patient interaction is necessary in this role.
•	friendly and engaging and know what it means to deliver outstanding customer service.
