Catering Assistant – Waste Management, Auckland

Part time: 22.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 10.30am to 3.00pm). Closed Public holidays.

Cater Plus is on the hunt for a passionate catering assistant to join The Hub Café at Waste Management, East Tamaki. To be successful in this role you need to be high energy with a can-do attitude and a friendly nature.

Waste Management is one of New Zealand’s largest and only fully integrated national waste provider companies, and the café will be catering for up to 400 production and head office staff. You will join a team dedicated to preparing and serving outstanding meals for our customers, making them come back for more. With the bonus of weekends and public holidays off, you will have plenty of opportunities to recharge and relax.

This full time role will require an individual who can:
• serve beautifully crafted café style food to customers,
• operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile,
• assist with food preparation and cleaning, must be prepared to roll up your sleeves,
• provide support for functions,
• work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,
• utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,
• enjoy working with customers and making them smile,
• barista experience is preferred but not essential.
