• Monday 6:00am-2:30pm
• Tuesday 6:00am-2:30pm
• Sunday 8:00am-5:30pm

We are looking for an accomplished chef/baker that’s keen to share their passion and culinary skills. If you are warm and engaging with a can-do attitude, then we need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry!

Cater Plus is the catering service provider at Coastal View Lifestyle Village. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef/Baker for our aged care kitchen located in Nelson. Here you will create high quality meals for our 80 residents, that are produced fresh every day in our modern, well-equipped kitchen, working alongside our friendly and established kitchen team.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• Experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
• A friendly disposition and flexible attitude.
• Good communication skills to interact with rest home staff and residents.
• To be able to multitask.
• An understanding of dietary requirements and food control regulations.
• Experience managing product quality standards and service delivery.
• Be competent in preparing, cooking and serving wholesome food in an aged-care setting.
• The ability to work unsupervised.
• Previous kitchen experience, preferably within a rest home.
