Cleaner - Fonterra Darfield

Friday from 6.30am to 1pm and Saturday from 6.30am to 1pm (12 hours paid per week)

Cater Plus is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at Fonterra Darfield. In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace, ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard for our client and their staff.

What you'll do:
• Clean and maintain designated facility areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are sanitised, safe, and presentable
• Carry out routine inspections and document maintenance activities as required
• Complete deep cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects when needed
• Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Support operational excellence by consistently delivering high-quality cleaning services
• Report maintenance concerns and opportunities for service improvement to your Supervisor
• Follow Cater Plus health and safety policies, procedures, and workplace standards
• Work collaboratively as part of a customer-focused team

Who you are:
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual cleaning tasks
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
• A positive team player with a professional attitude
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Committed to workplace health and safety practices
