Cook - Fonterra Eltham

Evening shift: 2pm – 10.30pm (4 on 4 off roster)

Are you a passionate foodie who knows their way around a café and prides themself on great customer service?

We have an awesome opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced cook to join our café team and help us deliver the best food experience in the industry to staff and contractors based at the Fonterra Factory in Eltham.

What you’ll do:
- prepare, cook, and serve a variety of hot and cold cabinet menu items
- carry out food prep and baking
- serve café style food to customers
- operate EFTPOS and POS machines with a smile
- move and manage stock
- clean and do dishes

Who you are:
- self-motivated with a strong customer focus and a passion for food
- friendly and engaging, hard-working and flexible
- have experience in food preparation, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- have experience in cafe and cafeteria style food service
- confident to work unsupervised and with the support of a part time Catering Assistant, take responsibility for the café on your watch.
