A rare vacancy has arisen for a talented cook, with a flair for baking and a keen interest to learn, to join Cater Plus and the family at Mt Albert Grammar School. With over 100 students, our aim is to provide a home away from home that supports a strong and healthy wellbeing.

This role is scheduled Saturday to Wednesday and is offered under an educational contract, meaning you will work approximately 37 weeks per year—giving you more time to spend with family and enjoy the sun. Additional hours may be available by mutual agreement to cover roster gaps or provide support for functions.

This position requires a cook with a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, who can:
* Ensure quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Deliver a high volume of healthy and nutritious meals daily
* Design menus that are student friendly or relatable to the function brief
* Demonstrate knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to implement NZ food control and safety regulations
* Demonstrate great communication skills and moderate computer literacy
* Show an energetic manner.
