Part-Time Catering Assistant – Aged Care, Paraparaumu

12 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 11am – 2pm.

We have an opportunity for a reliable and energetic individual with a friendly can-do attitude to join our kitchen team at Coastal Villas Retirement Village, located in the heart of the Kapiti Coast. Come and help us deliver the best food service in the industry!

In this position you will:
- Support our chef with the preparation and service of the main lunch and evening meals for 75 residents.
- Ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard-free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
- Deliver meals to villa residents.
- Assist in the café.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large, hot pots and trays.
- Be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed attitude.
- Be resilient and able to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Be available to help with functions and on-call cover shifts as and when required.

Previous kitchen experience is preferred in order to hit the ground running, but training will be given to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
