Site Manager- Inghams, Waitoa
Monday to Friday – with flexibility to work across shifts
Are you an experienced Chef and Manager looking for your next challenge in a position that offers true work-life balance and competitive remuneration?
Come and lead our café team based on site at Ingham’s, Waitoa (between Te Aroha and Morrinsville, only 40 minutes from Hamilton), and help us take our food service to the next level.  Ingham’s is one of New Zealand’s well-known poultry producing companies, and this site employs up to 700 production and office workers.  As well as the staff cafeteria which we operate Monday to Friday, early until late, a free buffet meal is provided to all staff on site on a Friday.
In this role you will be a hands-on chef actively involved in the creating, cooking, and presentation of all food, as well as the day-to-day running of the cafeteria.  With the support of a team of six, you will be responsible for making our client and customers smile and keep them coming back for more.  
This position is Monday – Friday with weekends free to enjoy with friends and family.  You must have great organisation and communication skills to manage the café outside of your working hours - with staff on deck from 4am until 9pm.  It is a complex and dynamic environment requiring an experienced people leader, and problem solver.
This position requires a chef with relevant industry experience, who can:
•	Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of cuisine (both café and buffet style)
•	Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
•	Create menus to cater for a varied clientele and dietary requirements
•	Control food and labour costs within budget
•	Effectively manage a high-performing team 
•	Manage and maintain the Cater Plus  FCP - New Zealand Food Control and Safety regulations
•	Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
The ideal candidate will:
•	Have excellent communication skills and a flexible, can-do, committed attitude
•	Be friendly and engaging, with the ability to lead a productive and positive team
•	Have good time management skills, and computer literacy.
