Site Manager - Mt Albert Grammar Boarding School Residence, Auckland

Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pm (40 hours per week)

This position supports the delivery of a hearty, home-style evening meal service for boarders at Centennial House, Mt Albert Grammar School. As Site Manager, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming “home away from home” environment that supports the wellbeing of students through quality food, service, and site leadership.

This is a rare opportunity to join Cater Plus and the Mt Albert Grammar School community in a hands-on Site Manager role, overseeing day-to-day operations within a small, close-knit boarding environment. You will also be managing a one cleaner and one laundry staff as well. Supporting students in residence, our focus is on consistency, care, and high standards.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a background in food service or hospitality who can confidently manage both people and operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily site operations, including food service delivery
• Ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and presentation
• Coordinating and supporting kitchen and service staff
• Planning and implementing student-friendly menus in collaboration with Cater Plus
• Managing food safety, dietary requirements, and compliance with NZ food control regulations
• Maintaining accurate records and completing basic administrative tasks
• Building positive relationships with students, school staff, and the wider Cater Plus team
• Demonstrating strong communication skills and moderate computer literacy
