Café Supervisor/FOH Lead - Palmerston North Hospital

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

If so, this exciting opportunity leading our front of house services at Coffee Infusion Café located at Palmerston North Hospital, has your name all over it. With an established reputation within the hospital and lots of regular customers there is huge potential for you to ensure we are continuing to provide excellent service everyday!

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and responsible individual, who really knows what outstanding customer looks like. Reporting to the Chef Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the front of house service, supporting, motivating, and directing the FOH team to ensure we are delivering the best food service experience in the industry to our vibrant and diverse clientele.

The successful candidate will:
- have experience in a similar café environment
- serve beautifully crafted café style food and coffee to customers
- operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile
- build strong positive relationships with staff and customers
- take responsibility for the daily operations of the FOH team, staying cool under pressure
- support the Chef Manager to ensure the cafe’s continued success
- demonstrate understanding of, and ability to implement New Zealand Food Control & safety regulations
- maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment
- utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude
- enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more.
