Operations Manager - Northland

Word of our excellence in food service has spread and we are now looking for an Operations Manager based in the Northland region. This role allows you to apply your years of culinary experience, creativity, and knowledge of the region into producing a top-notch customer experience. The role

You will have the responsibility to drive day to day operations while working in partnership with the General Manager of Operations (Auckland) to implement development strategies and foster an engaged workforce. Here you will actively promote Cater Plus and seek out new business opportunities. This is a multifaceted role which requires someone who can think on their feet, be adaptive and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We need someone who is commercial, financially savvy, and customer focused with strong stakeholder management. Experience in the catering industry is essential as you will need the ability to develop your team, identify opportunities, effectively plan your time, and organise in partnership with others. You will need to align Site Managers to the company's high standards of service delivery and performance. This role sets the tone and as such your attitude is critical to success.

The ideal candidate will be someone who:

Has a proven track record in developing working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Displays an understanding of the food service sector and issues important to service delivery, and can develop critical internal and external relationships.
Thinks innovatively about new food trends, design, technology and executes effectively and within the budget guidelines.
Can continually review and monitor budgets / contractual requirements and identify operational developments and provide appropriate recommendations.
Can create high levels of engagement to drive the performance of teams to deliver outcomes.
Is able to create a culture of continuous quality improvement and effective team performance.

A current NZ drivers licence is required as travel across the region will be required (which could include nights away).
