Saturday & Sunday, 9am – 5.30pm

Are you an experienced chef, or accomplished home cook looking to pick up a part-time job or additional hours? Looking for a new opportunity with a great company?

We are on the lookout for an experienced Chef or accomplished Cook to take control of our kitchen at River Ridge Birthing Centre in Hamilton East, on the Chef Manager’s days off. In this position you will provide the full food service for mother’s and staff, and produce quality food that is tasty and well presented. The numbers of patients fluctuate so you will need to be flexible and organised to manage the peaks and troughs.

We want to hear from you if you possess knowledge and experience in:
• Preparing, cooking and plating wholesome food,
• Knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and food control regulations,
• A keen eye when it comes to presentation and dish design,
• Managing product quality standards and service delivery,
• Being an exceptional team player,
• Running a smooth and efficient kitchen,
• A flexible, can-do, committed attitude,
• Ability to work unsupervised.
